PepeWifFOMOAss started with one extremely specific visual joke: a green frog walks away, looks back, and somehow the FOMO mark is sitting right where nobody expected it.
There is no complicated mythology hiding behind him. He is the guy who missed the normal entrance, took the weird route through the city, and came back wearing his favorite trading reference on his backside.
FOMOAss keeps the idea simple: one character, one absurd logo placement, and a stream of hand-made-looking meme material built around the same joke.
